Ambush

A group may be deployed in ambush; concealed in such terrain as Buildings, or hidden from enemy by anything that blocks line of sight.
Figures are first placed when they move, shoot, or are seen be enemy. Visibility is normally unlimited in clear air, 24 in Light Smoke, mist or snow, 12 in Heavy / Hot Smoke or fog, 6 through Buildings with Large Rooms, Rocks, Marsh or Scrub etc., or 2 within Buildings with Small Rooms or Heavy Vegetation.

Use Perception v Stealth if any figure tries to move in concealment, or remain in concealment at close range.
A figure that has evaded enemy Perception may be represented by a blank marker at its suspected / previously known position.

Mines can be concealed using a small counter, and a predetermined damage radius.

Minefields. 

An area may be designated as a mine field and any element entering the mine field must roll against a predetermined number. Each element moving through the minefield must roll a dice for each movement round through the minefield. If the element rolls the predetermined number then they have triggered a mine. 

Some minefields may have a higher concentrartion of mines. Multiple predetermined numbers may be specified.
